About the Group
A school nutrition action group is a vital ingredient for the success of any whole school food delivery. The SNAG group is a multi-disciplinary group from within the school and it acts as a powerhouse for change to tackle food related education and health issues.
The SNAG group is comprised of the following members:
Chairperson: Fiona Reilly, Principal Teacher Health, Food and Nutrition.
Depute headteacher
School Support Manager
Catering Manager
Facilities Team Leader
Pupils
Staff
Parents
Local Councillor
The group meets once per term to discuss issues surrounding the food supplied to pupils and staff during the school day.
Over the years we have improved the provision of food available in school at break and at lunchtime. Pupils are made aware of the Meal Deals on offer in the dining hall and menus are displayed on walls in tutor rooms.
We have also been able to supply Café style furniture for use in Minerva at break time.
If you would like to become a member of the group please contact, by email, Fiona Reilly.
