Eragon
By Christopher Paollini
The book I am reading is called ERAGON. It is about a young farm boy who goes in to an evil mountain range called The Spine. In the spine Eragon finds a dragons egg. When the egg hatches his life is changed for ever and is wised of in to a magical world of magic and dragons. My conclusion is that it is a very good book and I love to reed it. When I do reed it I some times get lost in the story. This book is so good I would recommend it to any one of my friends.

Across The Barricades
by Joan Lingard
Review- This was an okay book. It isn’t too long and it’s fairly interesting! It is about a boy and girl who come from different religions- Catholic and Protestant. They fall in love but are caught on different sides of a dangerous war which is going on all around them! It is part 2 of 5 books all about the same two characters- Sadie and Kevin. It is quite an easy read and does not demand too much concentration!

Mates, Dates and Portobello Princesses
By Cathy Hopkins
I thought this was a very good book. Mates, dates is a series of books and there are 10 of them. I have read the first five and found this one the best so far. The reason I thought this book was so good is because I found it hard to put down. All the cliffhangers at the end of each chapter made you want to read on. The book was about a group of friends who became friends with a group of people from a more wealthy background. It was an interesting book because it showed the reactions each group of friends had towards each other and the problems they faced. I thought this was an excellent book and I’d recommend this series of books to anyone!

Mates, Dates and Cosmic kisses
by Cathy Hopkins
I thought this was a brilliant book. Mates, Dates … is a series is of books. I have read the first three in the series. I think that Mates, Dates and Cosmic kisses is the best book in the series so far. This book is about a girl called Izzie and her 2 best friends Lucy and Nesta. Izzie meets a boy and sort of neglects her friends. Whenever I read one chapter I wanted to read another. I would definitely recommend this book for a teenage girl.

Stargirl
by Jerry Spinelli
I liked this book as it has a good storyline and it was different to any of the books I had read before. The book is based on a girl called Stargirl who was starting at a new school but was completely different to anyone who goes there. I enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to anyone.
