LOCKER REHIRE
25th June 2010 Locker re-hire is now £5.50. Pupils who have not yet paid for their locker re-hire are reminded that £5.50 must be paid by Wednesday 1 July 2009. Money or cheque (payable to Dumfries Academy School Fund) should be put in an envelope marked ‘For the attention of Mrs S Boyd’ and handed into the school office. Your name, tutor group and locker number should also be written on the outside of the envelope. If you do not wish to retain your locker, please return the key to Mrs S Boyd in an envelope clearly marked with your name, tutor group and locker number. Your £2.50 deposit will be returned to you via your Tutor.
There are a limited number of lockers available for hire. Cost for first hire is £6.50. Anyone interested in hiring a locker for next session should put money or cheque, made payable to Dumfries Academy School Fund, in an envelope marked ‘For the attention of Mrs S Boyd’. Please also write your own name and your tutor group on the outside of the envelope.
SQUASH
9th March 2010 In the Schools Squash competition in all age groups Dumfries Academy have a winner called Dean Brotherston and a 4th place boy called Fraser Strachan. Fraser said: I thought it was enjoyable and it was great fun but is was a bit annoying playing an 18 year old.
